One of the resources I use to create articles is my stash of old writing journals. It is a tradition I’ve done since I was in High School, originally as a daily journal. I always get a new one for each big trip I’ve taken and these days, it’s the only time I actually write at length using a pen. There is something about a good quality journal, preferably leather-bound, that demands to be filled with trip logs, short stories and sketches taken from the road.
I don’t have a big trip planned, but I already found my journal…
ThoughtSpace Unlined 6×8 Leather Journal
This Vintage Leather Journal by ThoughtSpace is what a journal should look like: sturdy, durable and yet from another time. The classic old-world styling, the rustic finish of the high quality leather, just speak of craftsmanship you don’t see as much these days.
When it comes to actually writing, ThoughtSpace supplies its journals with high quality 115 GSM paper, which prevents marker and pen bleed. Nothing worse than having a great looking journal that skimped on the paper, you know, the thing that makes a journal…a journal.
This is just the thing to get your creative juices flowing, whether on the road, or at the coffee shop. It is an attractive and comfortable writing space for creative types of all levels. Make it your poetry book, your daily journal, or like me, a chronicle of an overseas adventure.
Go take a look, read the reviews and then get yourself a classic journal just itching to be filled.

Wouldn’t want to buy them from Amazon though …

And my handwriting would look even worse on these great pages.
